Massive retaining walls that probably make up the boundaries of the sanctuary complex are included in the last building phase. A destruction layer dated to the second half of the 6<sup>th<\/sup> century B.C. discovered among these walls, can be a attributed to an extensive cleanup of the Archaic temple that was destroyed in 493 B.C.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the most important archaeological finds are two marble Kouroi statues, and part of the left bent arm of a Kore statue.
