European Cultural Heritage Days are celebrating their 23rd<\/sup> year anniversary and are devoted to the arts and entertainment with the general title \u201cARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT \u2013 In search of lost time\u201d.<\/h2>\n

The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios is participating in the three day long celebration of European Cultural Heritage Days 2019 by opening the gates to the Archaeological Museum and the Ottoman Bath in the Castle of Chios, and allowing visitors to get acquainted with the spaces in a more direct and enjoyable manner.<\/h2>\n

Friday 27\/9<\/p>\n

9:00, thematic guided tour for school groups of the Archaeological Museum, focusing on the exhibits that are related to the triptych Music \u2013 Dance \u2013 Theater.<\/p>\n

11:00, thematic guided tour for school groups of the Ottoman Bath in the Castle of Chios, focusing on baths as entertainment spaces. The event will be held alongside an exhibition of arcaheological finds discovered in the Ottoman Bath during the restoration project<\/p>\n

Saturday 28\/9<\/p>\n

20:00-23:00, thematic guided of the Archaeological Museum by an archaeologist of the Ephorate, in order to get the public acquainted with the Museum.<\/p>\n

Sunday 29\/9<\/p>\n

11:00, guided tour of the Ottoman Bath in the Castle of Chios by archaeologists of the Ephorate, to get the public acquainted with the bath and its social role.<\/p>\n
