BYPASS ROAD OF THE CITY OF CHIOS FROM KILOMETER MARK 0+000 TO 0+750 (PHASE 2)

The project “Bypass road of the city of Chios from kilometer mark 0+000 to 0+750” coincides with the riverbed of Parthenis river from the bridge of Veritis street to the bridge on Enoseos Avenue (coastal highway between the city and the airport) and lies within the re-delineated archaeological area of interest of the city of Chios. The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios is responsible for the sub-project “Archaeological works”; it will supervise all manner of excavations, and carry out rescue excavations in case the presence of antiquities is detected.
