FILM SCREENING

The Volunteer Action Group “The Castle of Chios – A Lost Paradise” and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios will hold a screening of the award-winning social film “Fish n’ chips” by Ilias Dimitriou, on Wednesday 28-8-2019 at 21:00 in the courtyard of the Ottoman Bath in the Castle of Chios.

Admission is free of charge.

Plot: Andy, a hard working Cypriot immigrant working in a a fish ‘n chips shop in London, decides to start a new life in his homeland together with his German girlfriend and her daughter. His brother’s welcome, though, is somewhat awkward, Cyprus is different from what he remembered, and the fish ‘n chips canteen he opens is a business failure.
