The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios and the “Podilates Chiou” cycling association are organizing, for the second year in a row, a bicycle tour to the Byzantine church of Panagia Krena on Wednesday June 17th 2015.

Participants will be given a guided tour of the church and enjoy the stunning scenery around the monument.

The event is part of the the International Environment Day celebration and the “Green Cultural Routes” promotion campaign of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and aims to promote sustainable development by educating the public on issues of protection and enhancement of the cultural heritage and natural environment of the country.
