Hiking in the historic and natural trail Fa → Lithi

The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios, on Sunday June 5th 2016, is organizing a hiking tour along the historic and natural Fa-Lithi trails, guided by naturalist hiker Giorgos Chalatsis.

The event is part of the International Environment Day celebration and the “Green Cultural Routes” promotion campaign of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and aims to promote sustainable development by educating the public on issues of protection and enhancement of the cultural heritage and natural environment of the country.

Hike duration: 3 hours.

Maximum number of participants: 35.

Preregistration is required.

Those interested should register by calling the Ephorate at 2271044238 and 2271044738 (Mrs. Maria Michelinaki) until Friday 3/6/2016 by 14:30. Participants will be admitted by order of priority.

Required gear: sturdy shoes, long pants, hat, drinking water, sunscreen.

Meeting point: Departure point of intercity KTEL buses of Chios (Passengers waiting room) by the port, at 8:00.

Departure: 8:15 sharp.
