The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios, on Friday July 26th at 11:00, is organizing the event “Museums without walls: the new digital experience in the Museums of Chios” in the “Dark Prison” of the Castle of Chios.

The recent project of the Ephorate with the title “Enhancement and promotion of the Museums and Monuments of Chios through Interactive Applications and Services”, which is part of the North Aegean Regional Operational Program 2014-2020 and will be executed with own means and on an ex-post budget basis by the Ephorate will be presented in this event.

The primary aim of this project in the enhancement and promotion of the Museums and Monuments of Chios, and the improvement of the cultural experience offered to visitors with the use of new technologies.

The event will be open to the general public.
