SUPERVISION OF EXCAVATION FOR A PROJECT AT PSAROPETRA

“Supervision of excavations” in the project “Water supply of Psaropetra reservoirs from the springs of Karydia, Stratigato and Agia Triada, and replacement of the water supply network of Kamini reservoir from the pumping station at Alonakia” consists of installing new water supply pipes to the reservoirs of the Chios Island Water Company, and focuses on the wider region of Dafnonas and Vrontados close to delineated archaeological points of interest. The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios will be responsible to supervise all excavations, and to carry out rescue excavations in case the presence of antiquities is detected.
