2014-2015 GIUSTINIANI PALACE: 35 YEARS OF EXCAVATION IN THE CASTLE

The exhibition includes conserved finds from the excavations of the last thirty plus years in the Castle of Chios, a settlement that has been continuously inhabited since antiquity up the present day. The exhibits are organized into thematic groups, and offer the public a chance to grasp the evolution of the settlement through the centuries, as well as inform it about the excavation work of the Ephorate in the area, from the time the Ephorate was first established (1979) until the year 2014.
