Mastic and the Castle of Chios: two converging routes through time.
2018 has been declared European Year of Cultural Heritage with the aim to encourage as many people as possible to discover and explore the cultural heritage of Europe.
This summer, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios will hold a series of events focusing on mastic, the emblematic product of Chios and and a cultural produce that has been listed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage register.
