AUGUST FULL MOON 2018

The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios, on Sunday August 26^th 2018, under the August moon light, will open the following sites to the public:

Byzantine Museum of Chios (Mecidiye Mosque) in Vounaki Square in the city of Chios, 20:00-01:00

Ottoman Bath in the Castle of Chios, 20:00-01:00

Archaeological site of Emporio:

19:00-20:30 guided tour of the early historic era settlement by archaeologists of the Ephorate. The tour will start at 19:00 at the entrance.

21:30 concert with Melina Kana, organized by the Public Entiry for Social Justice, Solidarity, Culture, Sports and Education of the Municipality of Chios.

The archaeological site will remain open until 01:00.

Admission free of charge.
