The project “Bypass road of the city of Chios –Part 4” is designed to connect the Latomi region with the Chios-Kardamyla road, and lies within the re-delineated archaeological area of interest of the city of Chios. The Ephorate of Antiquities of Chios is responsible for the sub-project “Archaeological works”; it will supervise all manner of excavations, and carry out rescue excavations in case the presence of antiquities is detected.
